Newcastle United play their third and final game in the United States against Portland Timbers 2 not the MLS side but their new USL team.Portland Timbers 2 were formed as the MLS franchise's development side.

Although they are the development team they are expected field five players from the MLS side tonight.

The match kicks off at 3:30 am GMT
Stadium: Providence Park
Capacity: 21,144

Apparently its a 3-5-2 with a back 3 of Bigi, Satka and Fergie. Not sure if that's better or worse than a 1-6-3

Although he's probably just hoyed the eleven on the pitch who most need match fitness maybe its more than that and this is McClarens way of telling Charnley et al that we desperately need to sign some defenders.

I wasn't going to stay up for this but I might try and stay awake now as I'm intrigued to see what this eleven will be like.
