Players you really wanted

Out of all the players we have been linked with in the past which ones did you really want at the time and got excited about the prospect of them donning our strip?

There are the obvious ones like Debuchy, Gameiro, Gervinho, Vossen & Mansare, but which ones were you desperate for us to sign?

The two I personally wanted were Bafetimbi Gomis & Arda Turan. After we were linked with them I watched them a few times and they looked awesome!

Tom Ince, Yanga-Mbiwa and Modric are the ones I've really wanted. There is still a chance on two of them.

Zaha, Clyne and M'Baye Niang also would have been exciting prospects.

I think I invented the Vossen link. I'm not sure. I was sort of infatuated with him coming to Newcastle...

Imagine if we signed all of these! We'd probably be in a lot of debt but we might have came close to winning something.

Gervinho has been very good this season, and scored again tonight.

Was just getting used to the PL last season.
