I must be honest I'm still convinced he's pulling a Grant Holt gambit and using us to get more money out of Ajax.

I'm ALSO still convinced that he's somewhat superfluous to requirements but I'll grudgingly admit he'd make a great alternative to Perch as cover.

I asked an Ajax fan for his opinion on Anita:

It's been really interesting. Up until last summer, I would literally cringe every time he touched the ball in the defensive half, but every match last season he grew more and more confident on the ball, and now, despite the fact that he's not very big, he's become a good tackler (actually I think this, good at holding the ball, and great at starting attacks from deep. He can also bag the odd goal, and his sense of positioning is pretty stellar.
