New here

Post by robbie1988 »

Hi I'm new here, just signed up. I'm from West Yorkshire and a member and will be driving up for the Man city game.

In the past I've always got train but this time I'll be driving with no promises of trains running properly on the Sunday.

I wanted to ask if you can park at the metro centre and get train in? Is it possible to do this? Or if anyone has any other suggestions of places to mark, would be appreciated.

Feel free if anyone else is going on their own and fancied meeting for a quick drink.

Hi Robbie. I think some people do park at the metrocentre. Trains are sporadic and small from there, the bus might be a better shout (there's a bus lane part of the way down the river so out of traffic).
Quite a few ppl here are far away so might have some insight.

Welcome!

Yeah I'm Midlands so whenever I travel up I park at the Metro Centre and get the bus straight to the stadium, Magpie Mover or something (I think there's info in NUFC.com). It's very regular and takes you straight to the stadium. I wouldn't drive into the City Centre as traffic is usually s*** in my experience and parking costs (it's free at the Metro Centre, or at least was last time I was there).
