I never got the impression that he was that great. But then again if we are looking to have a re haul this summer, Gomis & De Jong along with a quick striker wouldn't be a bad three to have.

Really if we're only going to go with 1 up top then I think we only need 2 senior strikers. De Jong & Gomis could be a very cheap option for a decent strikeforce!

Doesn't matter if it was a non-story, lots of threads are. If people want to say something about it then they can. That's the point of a forum. It doesn't all have to be based on certainties or fact.

Gomis said he hasn't signed a pre contract deal with us a few days ago.
