A loan for Remy makes sense provided there's an agreed fee to make it permanent if he's found not guilty and impresses for us.

Please happen!

If we only sign those 2 then I'll be happy tbh.

If it doesn't it's down to both Lyon and QPR being twats. A loan is an attractive proposition for QPR given Remy's impending court case and the fact they need him off the books for a year at least, and Lyon would be mental to turn down £6.9m for a striker in the last year of his contract

£6.9m is a very fair offer for Gomis given the time left on his contract. If Lyon want anymore then they can f*** off.

As has been said, a loan deal for Remy suits both parties in the short term too. Maybe we can throw Shola into the loan deal.

Exciting stuff. I would definitely be pleased if this happened.

One thing - I wonder if we will be paying Remy's current wage. <scratch>

Isn't he on 100,000 a week? QPR will be happy to get him off it.

I imagine we'd pay half his wages or something, we'd never pay £100,000 a week given that our captain is on about £70,000 per week.

I'd be amazed if we gave him 55. There is no chance we'll pay it all.

They listened to me about a season long loan for Remy <awe>
