if its true about Austin and his agent did tweet apparently saying it was done then im pleased he is going to a decent team rather than the likes of Leicester and Bournemouth. you all know how shi ite we were last year but the only player to give 100% in every game was Austin, youve got yourselves a goodun there chaps and i hope he does the biz for you, gl new season
Cheers. <gent>

My Grandad was a born and bred QPR fan, which means I will always have a soft spot for you's and hope you can come straight back up next year!

Austin has been my preferred top target since it was confirmed you lot were sadly going down, unfortunately I can't see it happening.

He played today first half then the team changed for the 2nd. Most on our messageboards are saying that he cant be leaving cos he played but mostly i think they are clutching at straws. Theres talk now that he is holding out for a London team as he is settled down here and Chelscum name keeps cropping up, personally i cant see the point of moving there for a splintered ar$e bench warming.

Papers reporting we are offering £12m max, take it or leave it. Seems tight when the bloke is proven. :(

Not that tight when you consider his contract is up next year and he can go for free.

Strangely I personally would prefer Jordan Rhodes - think he would work well with Mitro!

Seems daft to spunk a load of money on him when we've got Mitrovic, Perez, Cisse, Riviere and Armstrong whilst playing with one up top. I know we love strikers, but we need another centre half, a left back and actual wingers far more than a 6th striker.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cisse is sold if we sign Austin.

This. I'm happy with that strike force. Swap Cisse out for Austin and I'd be over the moon but I'm content with what we have.

The issue may arise though that he goes to a rival club. I'd far rather he was playing odd weeks for us in a revamped attack than pushing the success of the likes of West Ham or Villa.

10 pages worth of posts suggest that it is.
