That's going to be a hefty severance package! He's salaried and a share holder.

This qualifying in Azerbaijan is mental.

So many red flags.

LANDO!!!

Max clearly the best driver by a mile, but what a moment for Norris!

Conspiracy theorists about favouring him over Piastri can f*** off, if Piastri hadn’t binned it into a wall on more than one occasion he’d have won.

First and second practice for Australia GP were interesting but not sure you can tell yet which team* has the best car or which driver has worked out the best approach to the new regulations.

* Apart from Aston Martin which is totally f***ed from the start. 5 seconds off the pace and given the vibrations coming through the steering wheel it's estimated drivers can only really cope with it for 15 to 25 laps.

Reckon I will wake up early Sunday morning to watch the race live.

Really hard to predict this season - tho you'd fancy Max to absolutely rinse any car, like Schumacher in his prime he can get every last millisecond out of a car and win even when it's not the best package.

Bookies have Russell as very slight favourite for the driver Championship.

Won't be getting up at 04.30 tho as Sunday is my only lie in of the week. Used to always get up early back when it was on ITV etc and there was no on demand streaming etc. but no real need to now for me.

Woke up to watch it but fell asleep around lap 10. When I woke up, the replay was on and I managed to wake up on lap 12 so result!

Was a decent race overall. Ferrari strategy hasn't changed.

Strange before it even began to have so many non-starters but once it got under way, it was a very enjoyable race to watch.

Ferrari are like bolts of lightning off the start line and the first few laps were enjoyable to see the battles for position.

Loved the Haas and Alpine battle that was going on and was gutted the race director cut away to focus on Russell driving 3 seconds behind a Ferrari.

The Leclerc and Hamilton battle for 3rd was fun to watch and kudos to them both for clean racing at very close quarters.

Perez is still s***, Aston Martin must be embarrassed that drivers must retire before race distance or risk serious physical damage and most of the cars are struggling for reliability.

Hope Japan is a belter before an enforced month long break due to the cancellation of Bahrain and Saudi GPs.

I’m not sure. First part of race it was close at the top end of the field but was obviously just a matter of time before Merc walked it. The field was so spread for the last third of the race that very little was happening. Overtakes seem even more artificial than before, when Russell moved into p2 he could’ve done it with his eyes closed. To me it seems outright skill has been replaced with gimmicks.
