Being a big BVB fan, I generally wouldn't take too much pleasure in beating a Klopp team, but I would generally make an exception for Liverpool, though his post patch comments just emphasises why everyone loves the man so much. So jealous of them to have him as their gaffer. What a guy.

Klopp is a smug little t***. So so glad we beat them, thoroughly deserved as well, battled for everything , genuinely hate them more than Sunderland. <ok>

Really? Seemed pretty dignified in defeat to me.

was sent a link by some lad at work. (He's Mackem - a canny one at that)

38 pages of comments on their message board about our game with lfc. Funny reading some of the comments starting from how s*** we are and how lfc are going murder (even mock the clap on 17 minutes) then all changes to how lucky we are and how s*** lfc are. Kept me amused whilst on night shift.

And they call us the obsessed ones!

Ps thoroughly enjoyed today - still think we are awful but need to enjoy days like this... Next stop Spurs! <applause>

He has often been an utter classless cronut when losing. Never liked that guy, never will.

Amazing result with a touch of luck. Just what was needed. We chased and harassed and it paid off. We might even have had a better pressing game than them too. The league is proving to be unpredictable.

Gini is proving he's too good for us if you look at the stats purely,15 apps 7 goals and 2 assists:although of course 4 against Norwich.

Saying that on account of the massive fee we paid we are not selling him for anything less than mega bucks, £35 Mil plus

Whilst also proving he's not too good for us with the games in between where he's been prone to sub-Sissoko performances at times, particularly when he's played in the middle. I think he's fantastic and could build into a cracking player, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. He wasn't even having a particularly great game yesterday until the goals, drifting around aimlessly and leaving Dummett very exposed.

Yeah one weakness of his game is tracking back, always loses his man. Partly why we need a solid DM to replace Colback,I personally think Anita is good enough;can actually ping a pass and works very hard and is good defensively.

The issue wasn't tracking back, it was not being available on the left when Dummett was in possession, leaving him only the option of back to the keeper or hoofing long to Cisse. It's clear he's got a vaguely free role rather than being an orthodox left winger (I don't think a single attack went down our left all game), but he's still got to be around when we do switch play.

He's not a winger though and if we restricted him just to the left he wouldn't have scored as many as he has this season. He needs to be allowed to drift inside because that is where he's more effective. It's not his fault Dummett is incapable of picking a pass to anyone else or beating his man.

I'm going to stop bashing the guy. Aside from Gino he's done a hell of a lot more attacking wise than anyone else this season. Set up most of our goals. Not great defensively but his two biggest errors came in the same game (Norwich), which is why it gets highlighted a lot.

We'd be a lot worse without him. Think Thauvin/Gouff/Obertan.
