The standard of goalkeeping seems to be the poorest part of the Women's game.

Its a shame, Bardsley looked pretty solid in the last game I saw.

Hardly. If not for a few Canadian players continuing their s*** performance (Sesselman and Tancredi), gifting goals, and fluffing chances, I'd say we controlled play. Of course, giving up the two early goals to you allowed you to fall back and defend. I've loved Herdman as the Canadian manager these past years, but he was far too stubborn and loyal to out of form players this tournament - it was really disappointing. <urgh>

The Canadians had two shots on target, England were a bigger threat to themselves than the Canadians were.

England still managed to have the better chances.

Also it made me laugh the Canadians crying about fair play/ time wasting etc when at one point a Canadian is down injured, so England put the ball out for a throw in, the Canadians then decide to kick it out for a throw in, even closer to Englands goal instead of giving it to the keeper...trying to get any advantage possible haha.

Don't have a go about time wasting when even your manager was kicking the ball away trying to make up time.
As for that example, based on the accuracy of the Canadian kicking on the day, they were probably trying to kick it to your keeper <urgh>

I think I'm a better passer of the ball than either team, they must have gave the ball away more than they actually gave it to a team mate.

It's true. Don't get me wrong, despite me arguing about who was the better team on the night, I hardly feel like we deserved to win, because nobody could finish the chances created in that or any other game of the tournament. When the game was over I felt like we lost the game, rather than you won it - and I definitely wasn't complaining about time wasting then, because it was no different than any other team with a lead.

The atmosphere at USA vs. Germany sounds like at a Justin Bieber concert, with the audience screaming in excitement at every half-decent scene of the US team. <roll>

Every decade? <scratch>
From a national team perspective, Canadians give a lot more attention to our women's team than the men's

Got to be honest here, I think the standard is terrible and it's not going to "catch on" with me.
I'm just dreading the day when they announce that football teams are going to be mixed sex.
