Zouma has great potential and will most like go on to achieve great things but the way you are going on about a handful of games is ridiculous, anyone would think you are confusing him with Paolo Maldini

Take it you've never seen him play. Pogba is 50 times the player Sissoko is.Matthieu wrote:No, I took liberty in my lead-up but the ranking is not entirely false. As is obvious it's all made up **** but I do watch a bit of Serie A (no one else does, look at the stadiums!) and I do genuinely believe Pogba is a bit of a SissokoGoat wrote:
Unbelievable amount of blatent trolling in there.
You're slipping. Trolling only works when it's not obvious that you're doing it.
Alright, he's really athletic, ok... and then what? He's not running track is he?
Hate being called a troll FYI, especially on a forum like this which has a relative core of consistent contributors, disagree, don't like me or whatever else but don't call me a troll, because that, i am not.

After mulling over hours and hours of match footage, discussing at length with my worldwide contacts and spending a few days running things over with my brilliant football mind. This is how I would definitively rank them with 100% accuracy.![]()
Not sure where you get your brilliant football mind from? You have Deulofeu who has just moved to Everton for £4 mil at No. 5 and Pogba who City are willing to pay £60 million for at No. 8
1 ) Varane
2 ) Draxler
3 ) Lukaku
4 ) Zouma
5 ) Deulofeu
6 ) Marquinhos
7 ) Shaw
8 ) Pogba
9/10 ) Januzaj - Thauvin

Apparently we're now competing with the mackems to sign Downing
I don't know why we don't go for Konoplyanka. Rather take him on a free than go for Downing.

I hope the mackems win that competition then. I wouldn't take Downing if West Ham paid us never mind us paying them for him.Chappy wrote:Apparently we're now competing with the mackems to sign Downing

Most likely just press bollocks though, the club has a lot of faults but signing washed up players (not that Downing was that good in the first place) isn't on of them.

Reported that Konoplyanka wants 100k a week and apparently flew to London to talk to Spurs. So I'd say that's why we wouldn't be going in for him. Be a decent signing for Spurs, just hope it doesn't mean we get Townsend, for me he is one of the most overrated players going.
As for Downing, f*** that. We've got Obertan.

Oh Christ, not Downing.
The Mackems will fawn over him if they get him, or he'll be a useless smog bastard if he signs for us. Guarantee he'll rake in a couple of goals in the derby though, he'll be Adam Johnson II.

I'd rather Townsend than Downing. Doubt we'd go for Downing, far too old for any resale value.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Van Ginkel is getting closer. Do you think it would be a good singing?

Good player who would strengthen our squad, so i'm happy enough from a purely footballing perspective.fuzzfactor wrote:Van Ginkel is getting closer. Do you think it would be a good singing?

But there is something about bringing in a loan player this early in the window that I don't like. I'd prefer it if we were looking to recruit a player of our own rather than taking the opportunity to help develop another teams player.
If we were making this signing towards the end of the window as a result of failing to bring in a permanent signing for that position then i'd be easier with it. Just a timing issue really.

Two days to go. Work on transfers starts before that. Is that concept too hard for you to grasp.Matthieu wrote:"The window" isn't even open yet ffs.

The only way I'd want us to get a player on loan is if there is a option to buy in the deal.Donkey Toon wrote:

Re: NUFC Minor/Untrusted Transfer Rumours (Summer 15/16)
I agree, those make sense. But I get the impression that this deal isn't of that sort. In which case i'd only want it if we were short of a player in a certain position and needed a loan player to fill the gap. Which we shouldn't be looking to fill when there is so much time left to find a player of our own.Stimpy wrote:The only way I'd want us to get a player on loan is if there is a option to buy in the deal.Donkey Toon wrote:

Not seen much of Van Ginkel but he has a good rep. Could do worse.
