Really wish we lost that 3-0 instead, might have forced them to buy a striker, unfortunately Riviere doesn't look good enough, Cisse is s***, Pardew won't start Perez and Ferreyra seems to have been sent to wherever Amalfitano was. Cabella looked like a poor mans Ben Arfa today although he was better against Villa and City.

I wasn't even all that bothered when they scored their third, least exciting season I think I've ever seen so far.

That stastic is reason enough to get him sacked, without a shadow of a doubt

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew: "We're very lucky to get Rolando Aarons through the system and I'm sure he'll get games because he's forced his way into my thinking. I've been here four years and were starting to see one or two coming though.

"But I'm disappointed today because we should have had three points. Perhaps we got wrapped up in the crowd trying to get a fourth and it's frustrating to concede. We feel we should have won by now because we've played some good stuff but we weren't as tight defensively today as we have been and Palace caused up problems in wide areas."

To be fair we kept clean sheets against Villa and Gillingham and never really looked like conceding and kept Man City down to a few chances. So technically he was correct we were worse defensively today than we have been recently.

City barely left 1st gear, they never had to leave it especially with our centre backs in such a giving mood. Palace were slicing us open every attack they had, with incredible ease. Gillingham, should never be giving us trouble yet we still made some defensive fuckups which nearly cost us.

Cannot talk about Villa as I was away.

He clearly hasn't done that. Why do people who don't like someone intentionally go out of their way to find ways in which to get further upset by them? It always bewilders me that.

Except he has though. Even mentioning the supporters as a possible reason for why we conceded is utterly ridiculous.

Not really, it's blaming the players for not controlling themselves.

No he isn't, well at least to my interpretation he isn't, he is saying that the team should of handled it better and should not of got wrapped up in it. He doesn't say or suggest anywhere that the supporters should not of been willing the team on for a fourth goal.

I think it is more the way he chose to express it. He was right in a way. The players got caught up with the emotion of coming from behind to lead and were pressing for another goal when maybe defending the lead was the more sensible option. The crowd roaring them on will have influenced the players towards that decision.

He probably should have highlighted it as the players getting caught up in the emotion rather than mentioning the fans at all.

But I agree with Mifune, we know the score and we don't need to jump down Pardew's throat for every comment he makes.

Fair enough. What I will say however is that it's not as if we got caught pushing for a fourth. It was a routine set piece that we should have dealt with.

Remember, next time when Newcastle is up front, the stadium should be quiet because our players goes over excited. Noted.

Maybe the fans should learn some lullaby to relax the players.

Yeah, he got one decision right, doesn't make up for his general bad coaching and the way most players goes backwards under him. £32 million on new players and this is lot is going down with him in charge.
