2014/15 Premier League Fixtures- City Up First Again!

Post by Heisen »

The Premier League Fixtures are out and bizarrely we have been yet again paired with perennial bogey team and PL champions Manchester City. Coincedence? Pfft.

This means for the 5th season in a row since coming back to the PL we will be starting our campaign against a top 4 team. We must have done something to piss off the fixture generator.

The first derby is at SJP on December 20th, with the return at the SoL on April 4th. Boxing Day sees us (again) visit Old Trafford, whilst New Year's Day will have us welcome Burnley to SJP. West Ham close out the season at SJP on May 24th, whilst our 1st clash against a promoted side will be when Leicester visit SJP on October 18th.

Full fixture list below:

I hope so, my closest game.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a ticket this year. Usually have no probs for West Brom and went something like 5 years on the spin. But tickets were subsidised last season so sold out even though it was New Year's Day <neg>

As did Stoke tickets <neg>

After a busy summer of buying several world class players our supporters will be clamoring for seats to the opening match... <whistle>

I'd love a nice easy home fixture to kick off with for a change. The last time that happened was probably Wigan at home in 2006.

Yeh we seen to have got absolutely horrendous opening day fixtures over the last few years, city united arsenal all spring to mind.

It would be nice to have a home banker for once. Spread abit of optimism, or ramp up the pressure on Pards

Wow what a Christmas!

Mackems, Man Utd and Everton before calming things down v Burnley to see 2015 in. The build up to the festive period is great as well with Chelsea and Arsenal early December.

Man City is a tough start but we should be winning the next seven after that fairly comfortably. Easy finish as well, should be winning the last five with relative ease.

Anything less than 21 points by the 1st of November and Pardew has to go.

Just because we were disastrous last season doesn't mean we should lower our expectations to that level for this season.

We should be challenging the top 6 or 7 and anything less than that is simply not good enough. Pardew's job has to be judged on that for me. A point less than 21 by the start of November and he has to go.
