I saw a massive spider yesterday in the house and I couldn't bring myself to kill it. I just let it go <neg>

Simple answer is to drill a hole in the box, spray s*** loads of deodorant into it. Cover hole with some tape, watch the f***er die <kray>.

Day 2 of not smoking.

So far I've managed to avoid killing family members and friends when the crave takes hold of me but it's only a matter of time before I snap and begin ripping neighbours pets apart with my bare hands.

Also seem to have some flu like symptoms at the same time as nicotine cravings so occasionally unable to tell which is which.

The last time I attempted to quit I tried to enjoy the cravings, it was as if there was a fight going on between me and them and I made myself believe that if I took them on I could beat them. It's odd, but it worked...until I went for a few drinks and decided to 'Just have one', and now I'm back to square one with no motivation to stop.

How are you giving up? I've only heard good things about the Allen Carr book (cue jokes about Alan Carr).

I'm just eating apples and carrot sticks when I get a craving or drinking lots of water or peppermint tea which also seems to work a bit.

Thought of the patches or fake cigarette but thought I'd just get through it as quickly as possible rather than eek it out for ages.
