I still think he will sign but not as soon as some of these people on twitter reckon.

Gervinho
what a bullet dodged that was!
It's not about money... It's about sending a message.

Was going to put this a bit earlier then forgot. Even in his first game he tore us apart completely first half, think if he hadn't got sent off he'd have had a better seasonThe Secret Ingredient wrote:I think he'll be the classic s**** first season in a new league and be one hell of a player next season.Le Quiff wrote:Gervinhowhat a bullet dodged that was!

Like a seahorse in the night, he rides with haste to his beloved's domain.
He is the silent guardian, the practical idealist, the man of peace prepared for war.
He is a Mackem.

True but he was still Arsenal's best player by a fair bit.TheLittleGeordie wrote:We did have Raylor at LB. he even manage to get torn apart by Downing last yearThe Rock Lobster wrote:

He might still be on holiday, we might end up waiting until he's back from it before going through with the deal.

I'm at Saints and Gervinho is training before their match, he has slipped over an incredible amount of times

I thought he returned to talk with Lille last weekend?Smudger wrote:He might still be on holiday, we might end up waiting until he's back from it before going through with the deal.

Re: The Debuchy Thread
Some point last week he was supposed to came back i think. Not sure if theyve had talks yet, Lilles board has been pretty busy later.
As for Gervinho, i still think he's a decent player. Far better than Obertan for me anyway. I cant see him getting too much game time at Arsenal now though as Walcott is probably way ahead of him.

I don't think anyone would disagree that he's better than Obertan but he's no way worth £10 million.Nick wrote:Some point last week he was supposed to came back i think. Not sure if theyve had talks yet, Lilles board has been pretty busy later.

Debuchy came back for talks with Lille last week but is still on holiday until Monday.
Re: The Debuchy Thread
On holiday as Cabaye and Ben Arfa are then and not actually abroad in the sun with his mobile off yeah.

Re: The Debuchy Thread
It'll be typical Newcastle I think. We'll have "agreed a fee" and it'll be a long and horribly drawn out process that will have us all feeling sick at the prospect of not getting him.
Kindly deeds done for free!
Re: The Debuchy Thread
I didn't expect anything to happen on the weekend anyway
