Well, after the midweek shakedown there is still only an 8 point gap between AFC Bournemouth in 10th position and Alan Pardews' West Bromwich Albion who have now sunk to the bottom of the pile.
With The Magpies not in action until Sunday in their relegation six-pointer with Crystal Palace the Toon Army can have a relaxing (
As previously mentioned Sunday sees The Toon looking for their third "double" of the season at Selhurst Park and in the other game Liverpool entertain Tottenham Hotspur with both sides looking to capitalise on recent slip ups by Manchester United and Chelsea in their quest for Champions League places. Finally Monday evening sees a faltering Chelsea travel the short distance to Vicarage Road and will be looking to put that defeat at the hands of Bournemouth behind them and a lot of teams would be pleased to see The Blues return to winning ways.
In The Championship Mick McMackem returns to the Stadium Of s**** with his Ipswich side looking to push for a place in the play-offs and heap further misery on our chums down the road whilst at Craven Cottage there is the possibility of Aleksander Mitrovic lining up against the ginger Pirlo and I'm sure Toon fans will take more than a passing interest in both of these games.
As always thanks for reading and enjoy your weekend.
