Actually quite like the idea, although I think they'll f*** it up.

This. Hope I don't have to play as Man Utd though <erk>

I assume it will be similar to the NBA 2K storyline games that made them fairly popular? <scratch>

I'd say NBA 2K games being good probably has more to do with their popularity than the career mode, especially given how terrible the latest one (in conjunction with Spike Lee, free on PS+ at the moment) apparently is.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how it goes, I was thinking of skipping this year but that might be enough to get me. I like player-careers as an idea, but seasons are long and there's basically nothing outside of matches to keep interest.

Wish they'd spend some time improving the s*** commentary before doing stuff like this.

<ok>

I've never played any of them. I just remember a couple of friends and IGN etc. raving about the career storyline a couple of years ago.

I skipped FIFA 16, this is probably enough to entice me back in. <neg>

I was thinking of skipping this year, but that's got plenty of potential. Always used to love career mode but the last few have been awful. Been more down to the gameplay though to be honest...

Having read up it briefly, it appears you can play as any team in the Premier League.

Also you can only play as this kid. No creating your own character <urgh>

I've played the demo quite a bit now. FIFA 17 looks like it's going to be a great game!

Hate the demo but I always do for new FIFA games. It seems like when you play against City it's absolutely impossible to get the ball back or keep it. Passing's a bit off compared to the last one too.

I guess it's just stuff to get used to, still probably gonna buy the new game.
