Following on from the other thread, who has been the worst player to play regularly in the PL in 2014/15? This can be from any club, not just us.

For regular we'll say any player that has made more than 13 appearances, so plays around 1 in 3 games at least (either starting or coming off the bench).

Post your suggestions then I'll make a poll later (I'm just heading out now for a couple of hours).

Obvious ones to start, Ryan Taylor or Mike Williamson.

I'm racking my brains for somebody other than Williamson, because I know that will be everyone's answer, but I genuinely cannot think of anyone worse.

I can tell you who's performances have been amplified the most by the players around him..

Williamson is the worst defender in world football, so is probably the worst PL player. Raylor and Sammy are very s*** but not as bad as Williamson.

Ryan Taylor
Sammi
Rivière

In that order

Clint Hill or Richard Dunne?

Gouffran has been easily as bad as Williamson

Think about it. Someone at club give the green light to both persist with these duds as well as not getting rid.

Added a poll. Not sure if all of them have made 13 appearances, but being able to include Raylor, Obertan will probably mean at least everyone doesn't pick Williamson.

Harsh on Obertan, at least he's had some good form at some point this season!

Someone said him in another thread so I added him on, but he's nowhere near Raylor or Willos level!

Surely there must be a couple of Sunderland players that we can add to the poll?

Coates, Vergini? I've not really watched them to be honest. Most clubs actually drop their poor players as well

Raylor. He's had about 10 minutes of positive football this entire season, true definition of a s***ter.

Yeah I went Williamson initially, but Raylor has been f***ing dreadful. It's so close between them but I think Raylor just edges it.

I went Raylor as arguably Williamson could get into another PL side at the moment (QPR) whereas Raylor couldn't.

That's the thing, at any other club in the league Williamson wouldn't have featured regularly. We just have nobody to play instead of him.

Satka, Streete, Dummett. He's been that bad that we should have tried youth players instead.

Coates has been great the last 5 games for Sunderland. He barely played prior.

My Liverpool supporting friends all say Dejan Lovren (and from the couple games i've seen) has had shocker after shocker this season.
