Neil Warnock: Crystal Palace sack manager after Southampton defeat
Neil Warnock has become the first Premier League manager to be sacked this season after being dismissed by Crystal Palace.
The 66-year-old joined the Eagles for a second time in August 2014, following the departure of Tony Pulis.
The move follows Crystal Palace's 3-1 defeat at home against Southampton on Boxing Day.
Palace currently sit in the Premier League relegation zone, one point below 17th placed Hull City.
Warnock won just three of his 16 Premier League games in charge.
The Sheffield-born manager was in his second spell as manager of the Selhurst Road club.
More to follow.

Alan Curbishley is there as well at 66/1
I swear the betting companies throw him into every 'next manager' bet just to make up the numbers. Although it would be funny if he actually got the job.

His odds are now between evens (Skybet only) and 4-1... Go on Pards! They're the club you love! How can you resist??

It would be amazing if we finally got rid of him.
Hopefully it'll be appaeling for him as well since he has the connection to Palace, he'd get to move back home and Palace fans are just about the only people left in the country who still tolorate the prat.
We need to get the message across loud and clear against Everton. Make the atmosphere 100X more poisonous towards him than Cardiff or Hull. Make him sick of his life and want to get as far away from us as possible. Then maybe just maybe he'll force a move through to Palace.
Sadly it probably won't happen though and its be another 4 years or however longs left now of suffering under this prick.

This is exactly what we don't need. And the whole 'make him sick of his life' attitude is rediculous - is this the school playground where you try and bully/berate people into submission?
I'm all for people criticising based on performance. But directing hatred at someone just because you deem them to be underperforming in a job (that's all it is, a job, nothing more) is stupid, pointless and achieves nothing.

That's exactly what he's doing to us. Home games are awful these days going is like a form of self torture not enjoyment. Away games are still good but that's despite the football which attempts to spoil it.
His attitude towards management, tactics and team selection is just as ridiculous if not more so. He's by far not a good enough manager and we are entitled to let him know that we don't want him here.
If I was underpreforming in a job as badly as him I'd have resigned a long time ago out of respect for who I was working for and to maintain a bit of dignity. Pardew has no respect for us, he has no dignity, he's just a pathetic coward who can't face up to his own failings. Since he doesn't treat us with respect we don't need to treat him with respect and since he has no dignity we don't need to show him any.

Pardew's now favourite with almost all bookmakers... nobody from the press has picked up on it yet. I wonder why? In the meantime

Odds mean nothing, just means a lot of people have been putting money on it.
