Re: The F.A Cup First Round Thread
They should probably just enter us into this round nowadays. We might pick up a win or two then...
Re: The F.A Cup First Round Thread
Gateshead in with a great chance of making the second round. I'd love them to make the 3rd round and get a Premier League team, would be a fantastic boost for them in terms of finances if they could get a tasty draw.

Exeter city
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
Re: The F.A Cup First Round Thread
Don't think that would be a very good draw. Would be better if Gateshead got a home draw against a big team and Newcastle got an away draw. That would be the best way to get a sell out crowd at Gateshead which would be great financially and it would probably be a TV game if they were hosting Chelsea or Man CIty or someone like that.Speedo wrote:Imagine Newcastle v Gateshead in the 3rd round
Gateshead v Newcastle or Gateshead v Sunderland would also be good ties.
Re: The F.A Cup First Round Thread
Felt a bit sorry for Blyth. Scunthorpe at home would have been better than Altrincham. If Shildon get through, it'll be a great affair at Gateshead!
