Gateshead in with a great chance of making the second round. I'd love them to make the 3rd round and get a Premier League team, would be a fantastic boost for them in terms of finances if they could get a tasty draw.

Don't think that would be a very good draw. Would be better if Gateshead got a home draw against a big team and Newcastle got an away draw. That would be the best way to get a sell out crowd at Gateshead which would be great financially and it would probably be a TV game if they were hosting Chelsea or Man CIty or someone like that.

Gateshead v Newcastle or Gateshead v Sunderland would also be good ties.

Felt a bit sorry for Blyth. Scunthorpe at home would have been better than Altrincham. If Shildon get through, it'll be a great affair at Gateshead!

Yeah I was hoping for Preston or Scunthorpe. I suppose it's a better chance to progress though <ok>.
