David Moyes' sack thread

Post by Cheik the room »

Unsubstantiated as of yet but it would appear that a number of papers have int he last few minutes said that David Moyes is on his way, quite probably before the weekend. I'll add journalist links as I find them.

Major news from the Premier League where a number of national newspapers in the last few minutes are reporting that David Moyes is to be sacked (external) by Manchester United after a poor season.

Depends. He would have us top 7 playing very regimented and route 1 style of football. I'd defo take him over Pardew but think we can do better.

Joe Kinnear straightens his tie and heads for Manchester. He knows it's his time. Finally, it's his moment.

Stupid if true. He needs his own players in and a full season to use them. He's inherited another manager's team really. Hasn't had a chance to fully make it his own yet.

If he does go, Man Utd just become another one of those clubs which will chop and change its manager every few years like the rest of them. SAF will have been a one off in terms of longevity.

Oh no, I sure hope Man Utd don't take this as a chance to pluck that top English managerial talent that is Pardew away from us, naturally they'd have to pay a load of money to compensate for that long contract.
