Weekend Football
Weekend Football
Mental entertainment at the Bridge. 3-0. Arsenal have Gibbs sent off wrongly as the ref confused him and Oxlade-Chamberlain. Crazy. Marriner once again proving why he is a bad referee.
Re: Weekend Football
English referees.
Re: Weekend Football
Some of the tweets coming from this are hilarious
'Watch the replay and you can clearly see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain saying "Ref, It was Bacary Sagna"
'Ref: "Gibbs, you're off!" Ox: "But ref, it was me!" Ref: "Shut up Walcott, get on with the game"
'Apparently the ref has credited Ashley Cole with the first goal.'

RIP
Re: Weekend Football
Why did the ref ignore Chamberlain when he admitted it was him?
Shocking refereeing.

I feel sorry for Wenger. His team have been s***, regardless of the red card.

Re: Weekend Football
The red card was a bad decision but will work out nicely for Arsenal, won't it? They've lost the wrong player for the remainder of the game which was already lost, but the red card will be rescinded and there won't be any retrospective action taken against Oxlade-Chamberlain

Re: Weekend Football
There is some talk that Oxlade-Chamberlain will get a ban. After McManaman tackle, the FA changed the laws so they can change in game decisions in extraordinary circumstances.fatbastardvegetarian wrote:The red card was a bad decision but will work out nicely for Arsenal, won't it? The Rooney goal seems more s*** keeping than amazing goal to be fair
Re: Weekend Football
What is Tomkins doing as well? It was a great hit, but Tomkins and Adrian should do better.

"And there are still some people who think England might be better off not picking Wayne Rooney..."
As expected, this giant turd sack is one of the first ones to jump on the Rooney bandwagon. Rooney is a decent player, but would struggle to get in the Uruguay or Italian teams for the World Cup. He makes England worse as a team too
