Your thoughts on the Pardew-Meyler incident?

Since this seems to have caused a bit of a stir and a bunch of people are calling for his head over it while the press does what it does, figured I'd give it a topic all of its own.

Some tweets and stuff.

So what do you think of it? Is it grounds for a sacking? Do you want him gone over it? A massive overreaction to nothing? Just a heat of the moment reaction to Meyler not trying to avoid him? A convenient excuse to get out of paying big compensation to get rid?

Pardew, absolutely hilarious. People are only upset about this because they care what other fans and the media think of us, if you stop worrying about others it's just hilarious. Pardew, angry man.

No chance he'll get sacked for it.

We've got the Pardew gif. Wheres the Anita waving gif? It makes my heart melt.

Wow. Watching the game in Players and not seeing the reaction to it, I forgot about it pretty quickly. But seeing how everyone is reacting this is going to have serious ramifications, such a shame a brilliant win will be overshadowed by this.

It's grounds for a sacking as it would be in any other profession but it's not going to happen.

A needlessly pathetic reaction from an odious t***.

If he really regretted it, he wouldn't continuously get into these incidents.

Wanted him gone before it, but hope it would be grounds for sacking..but I doubt it.

Donachie was sacked..would love Pardew to. I don't doubt Donachie made more contact mind.

Will Mike Ashley think this Pardew nut is the perfect chance to save cash on the six remaining years of his contract? #sacked? #nufc

To be fair Pardew should probably be sacked as its the perfect opportunity to get rid of him without paying compensation. Still though good on him for what he did.

So it's acceptable then? If Bruce had done that to one of our players would it be equally hilarious?

We should sack him because he's a limited manager and in order for us to progress to the next level we need a better manager who can better utilise our squad.

This is the perfect opportunity to sack him without giving him a penny of compensation.

However I fully defend what he did. Meyler attacked him first. He defended himself. Meyler should have seen red and Pardew should be getting an apology from Meyler for starting the incident. Should have followed the head butt up with a few punches and kncoked the cronut out.

Pretty funny if Pardew somehow got sacked for this after winning 2 games in a row.

And 4-1? Pftt, try 4-0 <roll>

Seriously though he deserves sacking, absolutely inexcusable.
