Youngsters who will succeed and fail

Here's what I think:
Succeed:
Ferguson - In my opinion he's the second best winger we have in the squad next to Ben Arfa. He's pretty much the only winger other than him who can consistently beat full backs and put in accurate crosses. It's no coincidence that he has 3 assists in 3 games. He puts crosses in but he puts in bloody good ones, and that's the key.
Bigirimana - A top player already at such a young age, but you can tell by the way he plays that he'll be able to get so much better as he matures, gains more experience and gets even more composed than he is now, which will all come with age.
Campbell - This kid looks like a class act. He's tiny but you just have to look at players like Messi and Silva to see that it can be an advantage. I think he's going to be a top striker.
Tavernier - I don't think he'll become anything fantastic, but with more experience he should become a respectable PL-standard defender.
Not succeed:
Sammy Ameobi - I just can't see it I'm afraid. I have yet to see the technique or footballing brain to be a good winger.
Unsure:
Vuckic - I think he has a lot of potential, but I'm not sure if his specific position and playing style will suit our squad. He may become a good player, but at a different club.
Streete - Haven't seen enough of the guy to be honest
Good - See above
Abeid - Seemed like he had a lot of potential which we all clearly saw, but he's vanished off the radar for some reason, so who knows what will happen.

If we get 1 or 2 of those players playing for us reguarly we've done a good job. Think a few will probably hang about and be squad players like Elliot and Griffin were.

Bigi will make it. Fergie will if he mans up. Doubt Tavernier will. Doubt Vuckic, Abeid and Sameobi will. Haven't seen enough of the rest

On recent trends, cue Sammy, Vuckic, Abeid, Streete and Good to make it

Phil Airey will make it.

I will disagree and say Sammy and Vuckic will both make it here. Sammy has a great attitude, plus he can beat players, he just needs better decision making which will come with experience. Plus he will take the 23 when Shola leaves. Vuckic has so much talent like HBA, one day it will just click, maybe we could play him as a support striker. I'm not saying Vuckic will play like HBA, but both have bags of ability.

Agreed with just about everything. I think Sammy might just be like Shola in the sense he'll stick around for quite a while as a squad player and frustrate us for many years but at the same time he'll show flashes of brilliance and patches of form throughout his career but at the end of the day he'll never become a top, top player. I definitely think Ferguson, Bigi and Tarver will make it. Vuckic could make it but I see him more as a future box-to-box all action midfielder (see the West Brom game last year), Abeid needs a loan spell in the Championship IMO same with Campbell who could make it but looks quite lightweight but his pace and movement looks excellent and the rest (Streete, Good, Moyo, Inman, etc) haven't seen enough of them to make a proper judgement.

Bigi's nearly made it already, I'd have no problem starting him in a Premier League game and he's only 18. Ferguson should make it as long as he puts his injuries behind him and I think Tavernier will with experience as well, he's shown real potential when actually playing right back and getting down the line. Vuckic I'm not sure on, same with Sammy, but I think both will stay at the club for a few years anyway, Vuckic is on a long contract and I just cant see Sammy leaving, like Shola

.
A lot of them need a loan move though, I'd only be comfortable with Bigi or Fergie from that list playing regularly in the PL.

Bigi has had a handful of games for us, he's looked good but he's not nearly made it, not meant as a disservice to him but a lot of young players have burst onto the scene and kinda went into obscurity. Looked a little lightweight against Reading the other week but sorta expected as it was his first pl start against some big strong cm's. I think he's the best chance out the lot of this group though.

Really don't see Vuckic making it. Bigi most definitely will.

Quite blunt but my views:
Ferguson - Will stay at the club as a squad player. Such a shame though as I think if he was at a club like Swansea/Blackpool he would play games and become a top player.
Bigirimana - Will become a first team player for us.
Campbell - Tough one as he's so young. Squad player for us.
Tavernier - Think he'll be sold in the next couple of years and become a good player for a top half championship club.
Sammy Ameobi - Will stay as a squad player for us.
Vuckic - Squad player for us.
Abeid - Think he'll be sold but think he'll be a prem player for someone, or possibly move to a different country and play top level.
Can't comment on Good & Streete as not seen them play

I disagree with the Sammy bit. He'll definitely not make it as a winger but he'll be decent in the middle with his pace and dribbling skills ...
