Never been a fan of Christmas pudding but we have one every year for my father in law - always shop bought so I can focus on making something different for pudding.

I don't get em... there's better puddings to be had and tbh there's usually a box or two of Ferrero Rochers somewhere in the house and I'd sooner kane a load of them than have a Christmas pud! <gent>

It's a bit like man united.

Overrated. The number 1 with fans for decades.

But overall, it's a number of decent and expensive ingredients which put together don't work that well and most of those ingredients would work much better if they were used for a completely different sweet course.
