That's why Pardew hasn't played him as a striker this season.

If Perch was unleashed upfront, he'd belittle all opposition and force Barca to swap him for Messi and Messi is crap in defence.

He could be much better if he was surrounded by quality players, like he would be if he came here. I'd never heard of him until the papers were saying we had some interest in signing him, just like i had never heard of Tiote until we bought him. He could turn out to be another cracking player that other clubs failed to spot.
