Missed 2nd half as was travelling home, I wouldn't say we played em off the park in the 1st half tho.TJR wrote:This was probably the most Newcastle week ever. Get thrashed of a Pardew side then play a Klopp side off the park. Sometimes I don't understand football.

Gini better have a s*** game next week or the big clubs will be sniffing
Amazing win. That is just so us. Show no fight against teams that we should be matching, but then pull out a win that nobody would have predicted.
We played with passion, determination, composure and ability today. People will say that Liverpool never turned up, but that's partly down to our approach. I really hope that dr Hong stays fit and gets a run in the side, he showed glimpses of how he and Gini could link up and will get better with games.

As much as I hate Liverpool, I can't bring myself to hate Klopp. The interviewer is trying to bait him into blaming the ref/linesman, but he just says "Newcastle are the deserved winners"

This changes nothing for me. McClaren, and the majority of our squad, still isn't good enough. This is vintage Pardew; go on a losing streak then win a big game to keep everyone quiet for a while then repeat.

Absolutely. I'm just trying to enjoy this one for once rather than depressing myself with the reality of our season.MultipleJesuses wrote:This changes nothing for me. McClaren from corners start to talk about lightbulbs. A fluid transition.

First match I've been able to watch since Norwich so I'll definitely be tuning in for Spuds next week.
A massive highlight for me today was that Niall Quinn was not commentating.
Prick.

Toondes get to work mate , you're gonna need a few more kids if we want to stay up this season.
Quality performance from the entire team, Anita really stood out for me, mopping up and doing a lot of the dirty work. He did give the ball away a few times but he ran his bloody socks off.

Colo played well as well , must put the fear of God into you knowing Iron Mike has been called back from a loan and has a possibility of replacing you in the squad.

A random black and white cat came into my house today and took a kip on the sofa, must have been a sign.
I need to find that bastard cat before we play Spurs.

I'll do my best but I can't promise. The lack of sleep is a killer. If it gets results though I'll give it my best shot.
