The table looks awful. It really is two teams out of us, Sunderland and Norwich.

Might as well take the risk of sacking him, we are certainly f***ed with him behind the helm
Re: Newcastle Utd vs Bournemouth - 05/03/16
I can't get my head around Ashley gambling this much with us , especially considering the amount of money we've spent. He may not care about the club but you'd have thought he'd care when it comes to the amount of money he is about to lose.

It's pathetic we've let this happen. Stoke were awful but we bent over for them and Bournemouth was a must win game. If we'd have turned up to both games we'd be 6 points better off and right up Palace and Swansea's arses.originallad wrote:The table looks awful. Amazing how he can spend £80m on players then hire a clown to run the team. Why not spend big on a top gaffer?Dumm & Doumbia wrote:I can't get my head around Ashley gambling this much with us , especially considering the amount of money we've spent. Exactly this. £24m on Cabella and Thauvin? May as well have just spent that on the best manager we could possibly get...ALF wrote:Amazing how he can spend £80m on players then hire a clown to run the team. We should be throwing money at any manager available. Offer Mourinho or Benitez £20M to manage us for the rest of the season. Only a big name will give these players enough belief to win games. Pardew, Carver and McClaren have crushed the talent out of them.

Mcclown u stupid s*** f***ing manager and a f***ing s*** coach if u were a good coach u would coach a team to f***ing get more than 24 f***ing points in 28 games. f*** your worse than the joker kinnear get the f*** out!!!!!
Re: Newcastle Utd vs Bournemouth - 05/03/16
Need to just get rid of him , dangle a carrot for the likes Benitez , Rodgers & Moyes. Just need to get the team doing the basics right and I really could see us picking up points against the guys around us. McClaren has made the players even worse after Pards and Carver pretty impressive if it wasn't so infuriating.ALF wrote:Amazing how he can spend £80m on players then hire a clown to run the team. Thing is as well. A fair few of the matches we've lost have been against teams that have played pretty poor themselves, we've just been utter ****. School boy defending, static midfield and our attacking in the final third is woeful.
Re: Newcastle Utd vs Bournemouth - 05/03/16
So inevitable I am afraid to day. The appointment of McClaren was doomed from the start and there is no way we are going to entice any sort of decent manager to this club at this present time.

Infuriating text sent into the BBC live text
f*** off. Just f*** off.Just been thinking bout this and it dawned on me... Newcastle haven't won anything for like 50 years. In that time there have been many boards. Hundreds of players, tactics and team combinations. A dozen a more managers. It's made not one bit of difference to their success. Their success over the years is pitiful. What has been the one constant throughout? The whinging fans creating an atmosphere that the players can't thrive in. Over expectation that leads to an undercurrent of anxiety every week meaning the players would rather hide than show for the ball in case they make a mistake.

Danny Mills suggested Nigel Pearson as an option - actually reckon it's a decent shout

Re: Newcastle Utd vs Bournemouth - 05/03/16
Then this;-
Danny Mills says he thinks ex- Leicester boss Nigel Pearson would make a good fit at Newcastle if Steve McClaren is sacked tonight...
"If there's going to be a change of manager, he needs to be an abrasive character. Nigel Pearson is available. Give him nine games, see what happens and he might take it if they give him a bonus at the end of the season for staying up."

Nah. He wants to take us down and clearly cannot see that his ideas aren't working.Newcastle boss Steve McClaren is giving his post-match interview now and he is remaining defiant.
"There are 10 games to go and we have to show fight," he says. "We have to stick together."
When asked if he thinks he will be given the chance to keep them up, he adds: "I hope so."
More from McClaren shortly.
