It's an insult to victims to call this a headbutt, hardly surprising with the melodramatic, politically correct, drama-hungry nature of a large proportion of today's society in this country.
By definition, it is a head butt.

The definition of "butt" is to deliver a push or blow. Goats pushing their heads together in a fight means that the goats are "butting" their heads.

In reality you may associate head butts with causing serious damage, but it is the right thing to call it. It's a head butt. Just an extremely weak one.
You can bring up dictionary definition's all you like, but in the real world a headbutt causes serious damage. It's impossible for one word to cover such extremes of violence, it's like only having one word to cover everything from flicking someone to chopping their arm off.
"Yeah, because when they shout go, go, go, go, take him on, take him on, you know, you, you can fly, you go and you try because it's a joy to play in front of our supporters."

It's still a headbutt, albeit a soft one.

It was a s*** headbutt, much like if I lightly punched your arm it would still be a punch, regardless of damage caused.

Fine, my issue then is with the dictionary definition of headbutt being far too broad <laugh>

This. It's the same if you jokingly kick someone softly in the arse. It's still a kick.

The label of headbutt is correct even if it sounds weird because there wasn't any damage. The definition is correct but people's individual associations with the word will vary.

It doesn't matter if you full on s*** yourself or just a small dollop pops out, you've still shat yourself either way.

I'm sure PSA can circulate guidance confirming this.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?
