Maybe Debuchy will be in Madrid just about to sign the contract, and then Yohan turns up banging on the door "DEBUCHHHH! DEBUCHHHHH!" and then he drops the pen and runs towards Yohan, then they both get on the next plane to Newcastle and he signs for us

Yohan can take Shola and Perch as backup. Shola can slap Pepe and Perch can scream "f*** YOU PEPE, YOU JUST GOT PERCH'D, b****!"

I hope we end up signing him on deadline day. We could all celebrate by singing songs, guzzling beer and stroking ourselves gently, then head on into Newcastle to find David Craig and kill the worthless little t***!

Not holding much hope for Copenhagen. Although if they score one they're probably through! Who even plays for them?

Well a player who'll leave on his very first year
Is usually a dick-head.
And a player who'll leave on the second year round
Is not too dedicated
But a player who waits twenty whole years,
no tears, a loyal peer!
He's the player we're glad we've found--he's our
Debuchy! Debuchy! Debuchy! Debuchy!
The player who's hard to get!
Debuchy
Debuchy
Debuchy
But we can sign him yet.
Bid on him once just to show some interest,
Bid on him twice still taking the piss.
Once more we'll raise our payment,
Just a little bit
You'll see our intent.
De bu chey oh where will he go?
Don't ask me I have no clue though...
Squeeze us for more as we're desperate,
Lille and Garcia, they're f***ing hell-bent,
And again upping the price,
Can't really blame them, they're clever guys.
De bu chey oh where will he go?
Rudi says no...
Now slim old Mike is greedy,
As anyone could see,
His wallet remains closed,
He likes his money,
Squeeze us for more and you can get lost,
Lille and Garcia, they can f*** off,
Now they're the ones taking the piss,
We were so close, how did we do this?
Rudi Garcia is a nob-end
nob-end
Debuchy
Debuchy
Debuchy
The player that's hard to get.
Debuchy
Debuchy
Debuchy
He's not a Geordie yet.
Debuchy
Debuchy
Debuchy
The player that's hard to get.
Debuchy
Debuchy
Debuchy
But we can sign him yet!
Debuchy!

From SkySports. Looks like unless we give Lille what they want then this transfer is a no go I'm afraid
Lille chairman Michel Seydoux claims failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage would not force the club to part with Mathieu Debuchy.
The France international is known to be a top target for Premier League side Newcastle, while Primera Liga giants Real Madridhave also been linked with a late approach.
Any side hoping to wrap up a deal will have to move quickly, with the summer transfer window set to slam shut on Friday.
Lille hope the deadline will pass with Debuchy still on their books, but appreciate that there are a number of factors to take into consideration.
A 1-0 defeat by Copenhagen in the first leg of their Champions League play-off has left the French side with it all to do if they are to reach the group stage.
Proposal
Were they to drop out of Europe's premier club competition on Wednesday, interest in Debuchy is likely to intensify.
Seydoux, though, maintains that he will not be forced into a sale and remains optimistic regarding Lille's chances of turning the Copenhagen tie around.
He told L'Equipe: "If we fail to qualify for the Champions League would I be forced to accept Newcastle's proposal? You know that I am not very flexible when it comes to business.
"We didn't show enough fighting spirit during the first leg in Denmark but I feel we found that last Saturday against Nice (in a 2-2 draw)."

We really need to send Slim Mike into the Lille boardroom with a cane and straw hat and let him serenade them with the Debuchy song, using his good old cockney charm to his advantage of course.
