The Pats/Ravens game was brilliant. Hopefully our one later is as much entertainment! Flacco lost it for the Ravens though... he really didn't need to take a shot at the end zone when he did. Could have carried on with what was working and marched up the field!

Wow. What that ruling was harsh on that Bryant catch. Very harsh.

There comes a time when every great has to realise that they just aren't the player they used to be... I hate to say it but Manning looks to have reached that time

Ridiculous wasn't it. My boss is a Packers fan as well and has spent all day trying to justify it. He took like 3 extra steps with the ball before falling down anyway, even if the ball does move around (and even then its harsh), it's not as if he took to the floor straight away on the catch.

Agreed, he's broke a lot of records which clearly meant so much to him (as he wasn't going to beat Brady's rings

) but he made some awful decisions last night and I think it's time to maybe call it a day. Not a game changing decision but why on earth did he not run to get a first down when he threw it to Sanders and incidentally out?! Crazy

The news about his torn quadricep may explain why he didn't run but even so, it kind of was a game changer as it was 3rd down and they went on to score a TD (I think!?) from the next possession. May be wrong there but either way, can you ever envisage one of the other "top" QB's not running there?
Should be an interesting few weeks as a Broncos fan now that we've fired Fox, Del Rio will probably go to Oakland and Gase is being heavily chased after by 49ers. Manning likely walks out if that happens, and I wouldn't blame him, because it's too much to go through for the final year on his contract. All of the coaching staff have been told they're welcome to find another job although we hold their contractual obligations.

Will also be interesting to see what changes are made in the squad. John Elway has somehow managed to assemble a great team under the salary cap providing weapons to Manning that Brady could only have dreamed of these past few years, surely they'll be some hits coming up?! Next year we finally get rid of Aaron Hernandez who was one of our biggest hits despite being in jail would you believe!
Gutted the AFC Championship is the later game, going to have to avoid everything like the plague on Monday

We've resigned Chris Harris which was great but still got both Thomases, Pot Roast, Franklin and about 7-8 of the solid starters that are all out of contract in the summer. We'd do well to resign 3 of them although Welker will probably leave which will reduce the wage bill slightly.
Yeah, good luck avoiding twitter and even BBC sport all day!

Wow. 55 mins of stunning play by the Packers counts for jack s*** if you can't finish the opposition off! Hopefully the AFC game lives up to the standard set by the NFC

Probably not the best game for the neutral but leaves little doubt who the best team in the AFC is.
The Seahawks are beatable, that's for sure. I still fear them, but if anyone can hatch a plan to stop them, its Bill.

Draft starts on Thursday, not going to pretend I know anything about college football but will still be keeping an eye on who gets who.

Brothers a Titans fan so we're looking forward to seeing what they do with their pick. Could take one of the best 2 rookie QBs.
As a Colts fan I hope we add to the defence to help stop Luck getting sacked so much!

Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston? All I would say is, choose carefully or you'll end up with another Jonny Manziel!
The Patriots need a RB, and then after that they'll just add to defence. I am holding out hope that we try for a big outside WR in the 2nd or 3rd round but I can't see it. Another season with little slot receivers and no depth (although it was enough last year.

)

Tom Brady has been suspended for 4 games, pats fined $1mill and lost 2 draft picks after "Deflategate".

Brady

I honestly don't know how you can ban someone on what is essentially opinion. 'He probably knew, ban him!

'
It'll get appealed and most likely drop down to 2 games, the loss of draft picks is huge though, first rounder next season. If they're saying Brady and the locker room attendants did this, why are they punishing the entire organisation?
Suppose if you like the Jags then it's good news for you.
