Game over for the 'roo, yeah. Ever read the report of the 2009 Herold chimp attack? The owner started stabbing her own chimp with a butcher's knife repeatedly to get it to stop eating her friend's face. Every stab just deepened its rage and it turned on her too. It was eventually also shot several times by a policeman at which point it still didn't give up, eventually walking back to its bed and choosing to die there (probably with its middle finger aimed at the cop).

The more you stab a chimpanzee, the madder it gets and the more intent on killing you it gets. The only chance the kangaroo has to beat the chimp is the exact thing that will further empower the chimp's rage.

I'm not doubting that chimps are f***ing terrifying and if I personally had to fight either a chimp or a kangaroo I would 100% fight the kangaroo. However I just think that the match up between a chimp and a kangaroo goes the way of the jumper from down under. I just don't see how the chimp hurts it. It would be like Mayweather fighting Klitschko. Sure Mayweather pound for pound is the better boxer but Klitschko has the size, reach and power. Mayweather would not be able to get close to Klitschko to hurt him and all it would take is one shot landing from klitschko and that would be game over.

Dunno if boxing has changed a lot since I last watched but I don't seem to remember the fighters being able to jump on each other and attempt to claw eyes/bite noses etc. Reach counts for nothing when a chimp is on your back
