MA could well take the opportunity to get rid of him without having to pay the compensation, but I don't think he will. Not sure why I just don't think he will.

Personally i'm massively disappointed in him. I've supported him for ages now against criticism that I felt he hadn't deserved. And then on a day when we put in a performance where he couldn't really be criticised on the footballing front he goes and does that. Absolute bell-end.

I'm annoyed purely because this will take the gloss off such a brilliant performance. At the end of the day why did Meyler need to shove him to start the whole thing off? I bet nobody mentions that. Pardew should get the appropriate punishment absolutely but people are making a mountain out of a molehill over this.

I really don't think they are. How many professions are there where someone in a senior position is allowed to get away with behaviour like that?

Not really. I can't think of a single profession where you could not be sacked for that sort of behaviour. He is a representative of our club and as such there is a code of conduct that he has to adhere to. Ashley will have grounds to dismiss should he choose to. It certainly isn't ludicrous.

What is ludicrous is that knowing he has been under pressure and there is a pretty large and vocal section of our support that wants him out, he goes and gives the owner this headache of a decision to make. He couldn't have taken a bigger s*** in his own nest if he tried.
