And the award for most stupid comment on here is won <applause>

Assuming your not fishing, I'd say 3 Premier League titles, 5 FA cups, 4 community shields, 4 Serie A titles (with 2 different clubs), 2 Italian Cups, a World Cup, a European Championship winner, confederations cup winner and too many individual accolades to count clearly make the man a born winner, especially considering that he captained sides to many of those honours.

But to give you credit, he didn't win anything in the 5 appearances he made for Milan...
I was definitely joking. Thought it would be obvious.

Also I doubt much can beat TJR's bizarre comment about preferring Carver to McClaren.

Knowing about the discontent at the fans, at some point Charnley and Carr should ask themselves "who would please the fans"... and one of them obviously say "McClaren". This guy deserve a shovel between the eyes.

In that case I apologise - I thought you were being serious!

"Hi, John? It's Lee. Listen we've decided we're not going to keep you on, as you are f*cking useless. Are Steve and Andy there? Can you pass the phone on to them?"

In a perfect world <laugh>

I would have been pleased with Nigel Adkins, who just got the job at Sheffield Utd, for example.

If you would be pleased with Adkins, then I guess you are over the moon with McClaren

I don't know if "please the fans" has been said by NUFC staff in a very long time.

This. F1 drivers commonly do this I.e. Alonso and Rosberg always tweet the same thing in different languages.

We are now a club that is a less attractive proposition to manage than Crystal Palace, Derby and Man City's u21 team <erm>.
