What have Messrs Carver, Woodman and Stone done to remain at club as coaches? Time for change I think.

McClaren, McCarver, McWoodman and McStone.

The new "anti-McHappy meal".

Garde's a candidate according to the BBC. I wonder who people would prefer, if we can only have 1.

Would still prefer Vieira! Though if it was one or the other I would be over the moon. Oh and no reason why Vieira over Garde!

Would be happy with either but I think Garde would just edge it for me. I just find it strange that's he's not signed up already/last season considering he wasn't in a job.

I'd be delighted with Vieira or Garde. Both would be great appointments.

McClaren would be a disastrous appointment though and I'll be furious if we go for him.

In what possible way is Viera a great appointment if we signed him?
He's managed a reserve team once.

Yet McClaren is disastrous?

I think it's because we all know (or think we know) what we are getting with McClaren. Vieria is a bit of an unknown and that gets people excited.

This. Don't get me wrong - McClaren is s****, but he's got experience at least. Out of the shortlist that's been reported on BBC I'd rather get Garde.

I like the idea of Vieira as he's a proven winner with a strong winning mentality. He also seems to have a made a good impact for the Man C U21s. I like the idea that he might give us something new rather than the mundane tripe we'd get with McLaren. He seems pretty well connected too.

Any coach should be able to do that, it's Man City.
