Been excellent this half
And what a goal and what a man Ayoze is loving our LB as well

This. Beautiful control and excellent finish by Perez. Credit due to Anita for that exquisite long pass although the defending by Zouma there.Dr. Hong wrote:You can question Carr as much as you want but Perez is one of the best signings we've made.

Loving Mitrovic when he doesn't play like a t***. Offers us some presence up front, chases stuff down and genuinely looks like he cares - loved seeing him urge the crowd on
Perez might genuinely be one of the best players we've had in the last decade, mental that he's still so young!

Mitro holds the ball up so well.
The way he backs into defenders subtly to win a free kick reminds me of Drogba (or shearer)

Perez and Mitrovic are such a mint pairing
genuinely look like they care, if anyones going to save this season it'll be them.

I'm liking the Swiss LB aswell, looks strong defensively and decent going forward.

Are my eyes fuckin deceiving me?? 1-0 and we've changed formation?! Also... Mbabu LB? No more Haidara
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.
Re: Newcastle Utd vs Chelsea – 26/09/15
Mbabu has looked leagues ahead of Haidara and Dummett. At the minute he's easily done enough to keep a place in the first team.

Is Mbabu a cb or rb by trade?

Rb I think? Looking good at lb though, if he carries on looks like he will nail that position down as his own.

I think he's said himself that he's not sure about his best position. Doesn't look big enough to make it as a CB but he's very promising as a full back.Cisse's Overheating Torso wrote:Is Mbabu a cb or rb by trade?

The end of this match is going to be heart attack central isn't it?

Nice to hear that Mbabu is doing well. Finally a better alternative to Haidara.

Nice to see us doing our typical 'sit back and let them have the ball (until they score)' tactic.
