And again pardew said that he's sorry. How many times is this now... I lost the count. This guy is a moron.

Newcastle's owner and manager are above their 50's and they do the same mistake over and over again... isn't surprise the love between pardew and ashely... the love between morons is stronger than anything else.

This photo makes it look a lot worse than it actually is but it's a shame that's what everybody will see:

I didn't manage to watch the match but have seen various clips of the incident.

Whilst I think saying that he deserves to be sacked is an overreaction, there was no need for it and it's overshadowed a decent away win for us. He's a cronut.

Does anyone reckon Pardew did it so he could be 'one of the lads' cause Meyler used to play for Sunderland?
I dunno

Handbags at best. I agree he shouldn't of done it but it's done now.
He needs to work on his headbutting skills tho.

So what are people actually expecting from this?

Given his past misdeeds and the media coverage it's garnered, I think he's going to be banned until the end of the season. At least.

He's a crap manager and motivator with a s*** half time speech, so its not like we're going to miss him when he gets banned anyway.

Five match ban and a fine. Yes managers should be held to higher standards than their players, but it's not as if he's gone full Tino and butted him, its the weird 'head to face' thing that footballers do these days for some weird reason. If I'm absolutely honest I don't particularly care, and I'm much more concerned with a 4-1 away win.

He'll get a stadium ban for that without a doubt.

I'd cut his head off, it's the only way to make sure he doesn't do it again <roll>

To be honest, I first saw it on MotD, and thought it was pretty funny. Completely stupid, but I laughed, then my dad and my mum (!) started saying how much of a disgrace it was. I understand that he represents Newcastle United and that doesn't reflect well on anyone, calls for the sack OTT.

He should get a 3 match ban imho, same as a player

Also, <laugh> <laugh> <laugh> at anyone who thinks he's getting sacked. Have the last 3 months proven nothing!???

As a manager he should be more harshly dealt with.

Are people this 'outraged' when players do this to one another? Of course as a manager he should know better and be above this, but the with this kind of outcry you'd think he had just murdered a ball boy. He absolutely deserves a ban and a big fine but this has been majorly overhyped.
