Sounds like series 3 is going to be amazing.

I'd love to see them journey a bit more though, to say abandoned malls etc....

Can we drop all the 'true storyline', 'Shane should already be dead' nonsense? They don't have to follow the comic directly, and they haven't since the very start. Or would you prefer a frame by frame reconstruction?

FYI, David Morrissey (of 'definitely taking over from David Tennant as Doctor Who' fame) has been cast as the Governor, so you'll certainly be seeing him. American TV really love British actors these days!

hmmm, peculiar outburst considering i only mentioned Shanes death as i was not surprised by it and people were concerned about the show losing a strong character. if you read my comments i think its clear to see im a fan of the show and i have not shown any displeasure at the storyline (rather the opposite) or asked for any frame by frame reconstructions.

now hop down off your high horse the decrease in oxygen up there is going to your head a little <ok>

Hardly an outburst, I merely questioned 'true storyline' which makes no sense at all.

I hope the 3rd season is a lot better than the 2nd. There was so many filler episodes and all of the characters (bar maybe Rick, Darryl and Hershel) feel underdeveloped. Lori also needs to go, she makes no sense and just completely changes her opinion on things from one episode to the next. HE TRIED TO RAPE YOU AND KILL YOUR HUSBAND YET YOU GET ANNOYED WHEN YOUR HUSBAND KILLS HIM <grr>

The producer says that she loved him, and was horrified that she's effectively caused his death by telling Rick about Shane and his antics.

That makes no sense. Doesn't she pretty much tell Rick to kill him in episode 9 or 10? Also why would she love the man that lied to her about her husband being alive, tried to rape her, killed an innocent man and then tried to kill her own husband?

Basically, yeah. Although encouraging someone to do something, and being able to handle the consequences don't necessarily go hand in hand. As for the why love Shane, all of those came to light after she would have started to love him, and mustn't have broken love. Too much 'love' in this post.

I understand why'd she'd be upset but why is she annoyed at Rick? He acted in self defence. I hope she dies in the next season.

She's a woman, therefore it's his fault <whistle> But yeah, that'd be nice, and she can take that baby with her too.

Someone said the hooded one was a woman? I thought it might have been the black guy that Rick met in series 1 that he was trying to talk to on the radio.
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

Michonne. Apparently one of the lead characters in the comics (not read them myself).
"Michonne is one of the lead characters in the graphic novel, so we're excited to finally introduce her. She is a loner. She's a kick ass character. She's very dynamic and we really see her as a very, very important addition to the cast. She's a significant character and she'll be carrying a lot of story, so we're excited about her. The reason that the character's cloaked at the end was because we had not cast the actress. So that is a cheat there."

Just skipped the whole thread in case I read any spoilers. I'm about to start watching this, does it matter if I haven't seen any zombie films before? I'm watching this pretty much entirely because I quite like Andrew Lincoln as an actor, is he actually any good as an American cop?
