Can't believe it's been 10 years!

Sunday sees the second PL meeting of the warring factions from Tyne and wear this season. It's a Noon start at SJP.

A reciprocal away ticket allocation for both games of 2,528 places was previously agreed.

Team: Sandro Tonali is doubtful but not ruled out after injury forced him off against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Bruno Guimaraes, Lewis Miley and Fabian Schar miss out but should all be available by the time United return to action against Palace next month. Emil Krafth's season is over.

Coral rate this game as follows:

NUFC win 4/6
The draw 29/10
smb win 4/1

SAFC: Romain Mundle, Jocelin Ta Bi, Bertrand Traore and Nilson Angulo are out. There are doubts over Dan Ballard, Wilson Isidor, Enzo le Fee, Nordi, Reinildo and Robin Roefs.

Since Regis Le Bris won his first Tyne-wear derby thanks to Nick Woltemade's own goal in mid December, both sides have played 14 PL games. The mackems have taken 14 points from a possible 42, while United have collected 20.

15 PL away games for the red and whites have seen them score eight times - the second fewest tally on the road so far this season behind the seven Wolves have managed.

Referee: Anthony Taylor - third PL outing of the season for the official from very near Manchester, following on from the 0-1 loss at Old Trafford and 2-1 victory at Spurs.

VAR: Paul Howard

UK TV: Live on Sky Sports

UK Radio: Live on talkSPORT

Feeling quite confident, but secretly bricking it because we know regardless of how much the mackems have dropped off only one win in the last six, form tends to mean nothing when it comes to these derbies, what troubles me is how defeat will affect the fans relationship with Eddie.

Should we lose and certain fans turn on Howe then they're not real supporters.
My problem is reconciling my gross behaviour with my net income.

Have to admit Im not super confident given our excesses and how fresh they'll be

But if we can eke ( eek?) out a win here - we have a nice rest period coming where can get all our squad fit and ready to storm the last 7 or so matches

Lpool & Chelsea both lost/ losing so a win fir us takes us to 3 points off Chelsea & 4 off Lpool

Only the league for us to focus on niw - I game per week

f*** it let's salvage the season and do them 4-1.

I've never quite got the hype around Palmer. Decent player but I hardly see him as one of the worlds best. There isnt an obvious place for him in the England side, but you'd argue Anderson is all but a nailed on starter now. Yet whilst he does get praise, hardly the fanfare attributed to Palmer.

Eke.

But I always thought it was eek. Eke sounds to me like Eckey, also like a Nigerian surname.

I'm giving up booze for a 10 day health kick tomorrow so I'm praying to the football gods that I can have a nice easy 4 nil win for us to look forward to.

Can't agree with that, Palmer would be starting every engerland match if I was picking the team, he is a total game changer, Anderson isn't.

Aye - on his dsy when runs at Defences he just makes things open up.

Witness the World club match vs PSG

World class & Chelsea best player imho

A completely different player to Anderson who I think should also start .

BTW- I think Anderdon has been England's best player in some recent games - first time passing forward is brilliant.

I think the current Chelsea coach tries to plsy Palmer in an Anderson type role - but he needs to be further forward as a No 10 where he'll make goals happen and has a great shot .

Anderson is a midfield creator and destroyer

- which is a rare breed indeed . A dynamo

Leaving aside the keeper / defence , my front 6 predicted would be :-

Kane
Rashford Palmer Saka
Anderson. Rice

And then change / subs from ( in order of merit )

....Eze , Bellingham, Madueke , Gordon , Solanke, Watkins , Foden

If we score early I think we could batter them, given yesterday's results it's a great opportunity to make a move on European places. I laugh in the face of a 3-1 win, let's go for a 5-1 rubbing.

Hmm, wonder what's up with Livramento. Thought he would've started today. Maybe Trippier for leadership?

My FPL team has been decimated this weekend and was relying on Thiaw keeping a clean sheet and scoring a double hat-trick today.
