Make that 3.
I'm the scumbag outlaw. You're the pillar of justice. Neither of us like looking at ourselves in the mirror. Do we have a deal?

Superb performance against the odds. Everyone played well and responded from the weekend.

Performance of the season
Ramsdale (wow) he won that for us as much as Osula tonight.
To a man, honestly they were great the Newcastle that we all love. We sickened Man Utd tonight

Yeah I’ve never been one to bash Pope (more bashing the bishop…) but I don’t think he makes all three of those saves that Ramsdale made tonight.seaside nipper wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 10:23 pm![]()

Might try this praying more often.seaside nipper wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 9:24 pm Ramsey been a victim of his own naivety here. Should never have given the ref that option.
That said I think the ref isn’t being even handed here. It’s like he’s trying to suppress the Newcastle energy.
I’ve loved our first half attitude and energy.
Please football gods, be kind, we deserve a ten man statement win tonight.![]()

What A game.
Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Man Yoo
Delighted to hear a good old fashioned "the referee's a w*****", much prefer it to the newfangled "you're not fit...".

Well that’s fairly on point as the last two years have seen both my parents move upstairs. I ‘d like to think my dad loves that performance tonight.overseasTOON wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 10:31 pmI hear you have to sacrifice a Valued Adult Relative.seaside nipper wrote: Wed Mar 04, 2026 10:26 pm

Just waiting for all this crap to finish before watching us on motd.
Re: Matchday thread - Toon v Man Yoo
Incredible. So unexpected and so Newcastle like. Pure cinema. Pure magic. Footballing gods was with us tonight.
Ramsdale was brilliant should be starting now till the end of the season. Trippier rolled back the years won so many duels and played his heart out like his life depended on it. Big Joe was everywhere looked like PRIME Joe tonight bullying and bulldozing performance what a beast!!! Howe got tactics, subs and formation spot on today actually, unlucky with the sending off but we actually did really well with 10 men. The subs Murphy, Willock and Osula especially gave us so much needed energy and pace. Big Willy with a BIG GOAL!!!! Only 22 years old of age so much potential there's always been a player in there just needs to do what he did tonight on a consistent basis n' we will have a hell of a player, what a excellent solo goal not only was it a beauty but the tenacity and pace he showed to get to that position was brilliant.
Hopefully this will kickstart us into doing something special as the season draws to a end.
Howay the lads!!! Let's now go on and beat both Manchester clubs in 1 week.. that would be beautiful.
