Didn't really expect anything from the match today but have to say delighted we've gone at them and looks like we'll be in the next round.

3-1, f*** the ref!

Great comeback against Villa and the officiating.

That’s up there with the worse refereeing performances I’ve ever seen. Their goal not being disallowed, Digne not sent off, the Digne handball in the box being given as a FK outside. They should all be stood down.

Great win and good to see Tonali stepping up woth Bruno out. Two away wins in as many ganes after our struggles on the road this season is just what we needed. We should gain some much needed confidence from those two games. Great for Woltemade to score as well, hopefully will give him the confidence he clearly needs as well.

Got to say though, in all my years watching footballI don't think I've seen a set of officials as incompetent as that. The only decision they got correct all night was the Bizot red card. The Villa goal was miles offside and the linesman was standing in line. The Digne red card was a clear a red card as you'll ever see, ref and the other linesman should had a good view of it but somehow managed to get it wrong. Three penalty shouts in the first half as well, think they got two of them wrong. Then just when you think it can't get any worse, 2nd half was incredible. To give a free kick instead of a penalty is genuinely amazing. The linesman, same cronut who was stood inline and allowed the offside goal fist half is stood right in front of it and can't possibly not see he's a good yards in the box. Genuinely incredible. Hopefully the ref and his linsmen will be stood down for the rest of the season as that was beyond shocking.

The villatalk forum has a break down from their users about ratings and reactions to the game. 61% of responders listed the referring performance as "Very poor". 8% rated it as "Very good" so not sure if that's people taking the piss or completely with blinders on haha.
