It's the least fun game of whack-a-mole ever, and whenever you think you've got it under control, a new wave comes the next day <neg>

Going to have to look at getting cloudflare up and running

I'm learning Greek via Duolingo and then a book with some online resources. We're off to Greece in the early summer so thought I'd get some semblance of being polite in their language.

Quite enjoying it so far but I am getting flashbacks to my childhood when I did GCSE Latin.

Going to try and keep going with it for a while after the summer as well and perhaps will re-do a French course as my French is bloody atrocious now. I speak at a 3 year old level... just.

Anyone else struggling with the site for the last few days? Keep getting a '508 insufficient resource' message (too many bots?) - literally can load one page or post one message and then get the message and can't get on.

Only had it once yesterday for the first time in ages.

By the time I walked to the pub it was back to normal again.

I'll miss dry January as it was a great excuse to turn down offers to head to the pub with a certain few colleagues.

Somehow triggered a long overdue full version upgrade overnight when I was trying to do a backup first... :bandit:

Site is running again, some stuff is broken, will try to fix what I can when I can.

When will you take the hint? <fist>

I've not hit this, will see if I can find out what's going on.

Old skin isn't compatible with something or other. Will be switching over to a newer version of the skin soon - with a dark mode toggle 8)

New style is live. There's a magic light bulb button at the top to switch between light and dark mode.

Image

I think light mode is default, unless your browser says you like it dark.
