I honestly can see why they would! Such a variance of culture between all the places I went but one thing remained which is how lovely, hospitable and generally a pleasure to be around the people were.

Hmm I went in October time about three years ago now I think it was. Around 800, got a pretty good deal. I'd recommend using Google Flights to find the best prices / airlines.

Or Skyscanner. topcashback is also a good shout if going direct.

There's some canny cheap flights from Dublin on WestJet if you can Ryanair it over. But be wanred you'll have a stop in Newfoundland/Novia Scotia on the way to the big cities. I mean I'd recommend visiting either of these anyway (I went to Newfoundland this year, saw whales and icebergs <awe>)

It was the best flight Ive ever had - BA Business Class there and back. Was in the BA lounge at Heathrow before hand, its massive and everything is completely free. It was an experience.

I also went American Airlines Business Class to the US, and First Class on the way back. BA was much much better.

I'm in NZ at the moment and have a 16 hour flight from Auckland > Dubai then a 7 hour flight from Dubai > Birmingham in a couple of weeks. I would actually kill for an upgrade!
