Re: New Members: Introduce yourself here!
Dear Toon fans.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this. I am a Barnsley and England fan based in St Petersburg, who is involved in a project, the aim of which is to help travelling supporters have fun, and stay safe at Russia 2018 and beyond, and avoid many of the common pitfalls and complications associated with travelling to and around Russia – such as language barriers, cultural misunderstandings, and difficulties in finding decent places to eat, accommodation and transport tickets at a reasonable price.
Even if you are not intending on travelling to Russia 2018, if you have travelled abroad in the past to support your club or country, your information is invaluable to us. We are especially (but not exclusively) interested in the experiences of fans who travelled to Ukraine in 2012, as we are sure that many of the logistical problems which cropped up there will be repeated in Russia.
If you've had any difficult experiences following club or country abroad, I'd love to heard from you.
THIS PROJECT IS 100% INDEPENDENT AND UNOFFICIAL.
Best wishes, and good luck for the season.
Cheers, John

Thank you very much, Benny!
If you need a ticket for a game, just get in touch with me.
There is often a chance for me to get a ticket for the regular price (of course not for games like against Schalk* or Bayern).

I usually try to go to one European game each season. Although managed to go to Ajax and Real Madrid matches last season. Currently looking at going to watch Juventus in November.

Re: New Members: Introduce yourself here!
Hello everybody,
I live in Nancy, a French sister (or twin) city of Newcastle. I'm a fan of the club of my town (ASNL: former club of Haidara) and a member of a fan group (Saturday FC). I have always followed the English league and I became a fan of the Magpies in recent years. I follow the team whenever I can (although this year it's more difficult for me to see them on TV). I love your stadium and fervor of the fans.
I expected to come in a few months or a year in England to discover your country and improve my English. I will come to Newcastle if I can.
Meanwhile, if some of you want to exchange it will be with pleasure.
(Sorry if my English is not perfect)

Hello Tibo, welcome to the forum. Afraid we won't see much of Haidara this year, injuries have really stunted his develomentTibo wrote:Hello everybody,

Yes it's a shame for him, he really had a good potential ...

He always seemed to me more attacking than defensive. Almost could be a winger not a left backTibo wrote:Yes it's a shame for him, he really had a good potential ...

Welcome
You can take Haidara back if you like, we have about 16 left backs
