My moneys on him ripping out a corner flag and chasing Pellegrini with it and either hitting him with it or throwing it at him like a spear.

It's the second one where he just grabs his hair and shakes him. Mental.Johnny from the block wrote:Just watched MotD... Take a good look at Mitrovic' celebrations on both goals... Poor Ayoze
Re: Newcastle Utd vs Chelsea – 26/09/15
Yes, the first grab nearly snapped Ayoze in two and the hair pulling was absurd. I loved his attitude yesterday though, raising the crowd in the first half and then when he went off. Heroic.

Don't know whether anyone picked up that as well as the obvious positional change we've also made one big tactical change that seemed to make a difference. Rather than collecting the ball from the centre halfs and sitting between them Anita was actually taking the ball in the right back position, at which point Janmaat was pushing well forward into the right wing position and Colo and Mbemba were switching left. It's a common sense move as both centre halves are perfectly confident with the ball so it frees up Janmaat and gives us far more options getting forward in possession. Baby steps, but positive ones.

He'll probably beat Perez up with the corner flag if his celebrations yesterday are anything to go byDon Sholeone wrote:We need a Mitrovic first goal celebration sweepstake..

morning everyone (im assuming its morning over there haha). toon fan from down under here
good result against Chelsea but still annoyed that we couldn't hang on for 3 points, thankfully it wasn't a waste getting up at 3am to watch this game :P
Mitrovic is a gun, loved his passion in this game, he needs to use that passion to fire the team up continually, can have a very positive effect on the team.
good to see Perez get more minutes and make the most of it, and Mbabu = WOW!!!! hope he continues to impress.

Or evening for you
Having someone like Mitrovic who seems to care is a vast improvement on the lacklustre cisse.

4pm here now
not quite evening yet
Although we have daylight saving time commencing next week so we wind our clocks forward an hour.
cant deny that, Cisse been up front for too long, too comfortable in that role. quite frustrating to see Riviere getting more time than Perez last season, whats happening with Riviere these days? well apart from not being able to score lol

I think we'll see a lot more of Perez now thankfully.

I'm going for Mitrovic doing a bit of a Ketsbaia. Kicks the s*** out of an advertising hoarding before removing one boot and then hitting the player who gave him the assist over the head with it whilst screaming at him maniacally.
Seriously though it made a massive difference having a forward player who could actually control the ball, hold it up and bring others in to play. Something Cisse is terrible at.
Hopefully Mitro can stay fit and on the pitch. Should make a massive difference to our fortunes. Mbabu also great.

I picture him recreating that scene in '300', booting the oppostion goal keeper into the back of the net shouting "This.Is.Newcastle."

New to thread,ex-pat of Ashington, hoping Mitro,if he keeps clear of stupid reactions, gives the lads with his bullish leadership some confidence, just what rest of team looking for -got to be new no.9 -new Shearer?
Re: Newcastle Utd 2 - 2 Chelsea – 26/09/15
What's the odds on De Jong scoring a goal next game and Mitrovic crocking him for the whole season again?
Re: Newcastle Utd 2 - 2 Chelsea – 26/09/15
Steve McClaren was also delighted with Mbabu’s display, and said: “We asked him yesterday, ‘Have you played left-back?’, and he nonchalantly said, ‘Yeah’. We said, ‘Any problem?’, he said, ‘No’.
“He didn’t know until an hour before the kick-off.”

Mitrovic will go so mental when he scores that he'll get red carded and banned for ten matches.
Kindly deeds done for free!
