The front 4 is good but Gouffran in CM with Willo and Lascelles at centre back is absolutely awful.

They'd get ripped to pieces in the Premier League but hopefully they hold out against a League Two side.

Gutted that Williamson and Gouffran are playing. Looking increasingly likely they're going to be kept as squad players. However, if we're not getting any offers for them, they do need game time. Funny how Gouffran was brought as a striker/second striker and now he's being used as a defensive midfielder. The French Alan Smith!

That attacking four should do it. Gouffran is awful but tries hard and can do short passing, that's all he needs to do there. I mea n he should still be better than league one midfielders

What is the point of playing Gouffran CDM? What do we learn from that? Other than playing a striker there is a terrible idea, which everybody already knows. Ridiculous. Especially when we have the likes of Kemen desperate for a chance of playing. If he's not good enough to play against a league 2 side then get rid now.

Also if this is shop window tactics by McClaren, trying to get teams to see Willo and Gouffran playing, its really going to backfire when Willo gives away a penalty and Gouff is subbed at half time.

Decent team with a very strong bench, nice to see Toney on the bench too. Gouff at CDM is very odd, do we not have any youth we could bring in there or was Abeid our only young CDM.
