Shearer's volley and Tiote's volley are the only ones that still make me go mental every time i see them, and this goal will be no different

Re: That Jonas moment.
What a fantastic end to Jonas' comeback season, single handedly keeping us in the league and getting us finishing above Sunderland
I don't think I've ever gotten as emotional about a goal.

Not going to lie. I cried when he scored.

I was as close as I've ever been watching football. I looked like Demba Ba praying after a goal.Tomski wrote:Not going to lie. I cried when he scored.

That's is by far and away the best moment of the season. I absolutely lost it. One of my favourite ever moments. Jonas has been the sole highlight of this dreadful season. What he's achieved is phenomenal, to come back from where he's been is just incredible. Nobody deserved a goal more than him. I really hope it isn't his last Newcastle game but if it is then what a fitting way to go out.

So happy.

It's a complete different situations, but this remind me of Tiote's goal. The feeling. The passion. The noise.
Re: That Jonas moment.
This. I quoted Sir Bobby before the game and said the club is far away from his definition of a club. "The noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city". But that moment brought it all back again, that is the sort of moment football is all about.Johnny from the block wrote:It's a complete different situations, but this remind me of Tiote's goal. f*** it, he hasn't been great since 2012, but give that man a contract for life.
Re: That Jonas moment.
My uncle cried, one of the very few times I've ever seen him cry

And by "my uncle" I mean "I"

This isn't even an impulse reaction, but I would genuinely offer him a new deal! Another year or two, not even for sentiment, but because he deserves it as he has been unbelievable since he came back into the side!
Re: That Jonas moment.
I didn't cry but my eyes certainly filled up and my voice went a bit shaky. It was more seeing him celebrate that got to me. What a f***ing moment.
