Ahh it was a weird game today! They definitely had the better chances, but Moussa and Perez also had some they really should have buried. We didn't play too badly, just undone with a Ric Flair sucker punch from over committing! Don't understand the Pardew abuse though. This is exactly why we're branded as fickle fans. We did everything we could to win the game, but just couldn't find the net. It hurts, but onto the next one!

More evidence that we need to sign a decent winger, Sammy ain't good enough for the PL.

We lost? Of course did! <laugh>

I woke up and saw the score. I haven't seen any of the highlights yet, but I don't need to. I'm not even angry, I just dispair at Pardew and this team. It's getting ridiculous now.

Fair enough we have an absurd amount of injuries, but for me, losing this one wasn't an option. I'd have happily taken a draw if we had played well and actually managed to get a goal against a piss poor side.

I can't believe we've lost this many times in as many games against this Sunderland team. It's not even like they've had a better team than us in each of the meetings, they've finished well below us over the last 3 years. That's what has made the last four losses so hard to take, they've been s*** Sunderland sides. This was only their third win of the season? Jesus wept. You just know they won't win another game for another six weeks or so <blowmybrainsoutsmilie>

I'm normally pretty reserved in my judgement of Pardew, derbies aside, I think he's done an okay job with us but I'm just bored of the same old s*** now. He's been in the job two years too long, there'd be no point in getting rid of him right now, that would only do more bad than good. We need a change of manager come the end of the season.

It's my fault - if I'd have bet on Sunderland they wouldn't have won. It's almost guaranteed.

I'd put the $40 on Man U to beat us next.

I won 60 quid on Sunderland today which in turn turned into 125 thanks to Malaga and Atletico. Cheers Alan.

£125 on Man U to win on Boxing Day returns over £170 on bet365 - free money <ok>

Sadly this is the kind of game we will pull a result out and that will cue abuse of the Pardew Out brigade from all his apologists.

Janmaats comments after the game says it all.

No surprise he's seen through that cronut Pardew giving the high calibre of managers he's had before him. It must be hard playing for someone you know is inept. Further proof Pardew has to go.

44 more points in the last 3 seasons. We are a better team, keep losing though.

That said more than enough. Even after 7 derbies, pardew still can't prepare the players properly, tactically and mentally... which isn't such a shock really. But the biggest irony is that before the game, pardew speak for his concerns about how Ayoze "not really seen a game of this magnitude yet"... As out, Ayoze who "not really seen a game of this magnitude yet", knows more for this derby than pardew.
