Do you think if he'd stayed we'd be comfortably top half right now? <scratch>

Yes if he carried on the goalscoring for he was on, especially giving how few points it would take to be top half. West Brom up in 8th have been comfortably top half all season and they are only 7 points ahead of us, Swansea only 5 points ahead of us. Its been unbelievably tight this season in the league and when its as tight as that 1 player can make the difference.

I've got a feeling that if he stays we'll lose some players, Cabs being one of them. Cabaye signed for us on the premise we were gonna play good football, an idea sold to him by Pardew. We're not doing that and Pards is making us play hoofball.

It would help Cabaye's argument that he wants to play nice football if he didn't tank the ball 40 yards upfield every time he gets it rather than play a simple pass. He must have done that a good 10 times yesterday.

<pards> has sucked all the good play out of him.

Absolutely. As TJR said, the bottom half has been so tight this season. If we had the won games we should have such as Reading and Sunderland at home we'd currently be 6 in 9th place. <erk>

Demba scored 13 goals before he left, if you remember right at the start of the season his goals saved us a ton of points and who knows where we'd be without them. Had he stayed and with the addition of the January reinforcements he'd have comfortably hit the 20 goals mark by now. Look at Benteke for Villa, 19 goals- they'd already be relegated if it wasn't for him this year.

People slate Ba calling him greedy both on and off the pitch whilst overlooking his goal scoring abilities, he was prolific and easily one of the best strikers we've had at this football club. I believe our poor form at the start of the year played a big part in him wanting out and I certainly don't blame him- he was above us this season. I was absolutely gutted when he left and would take him back in a heartbeat.

Seems quite a few fans calling for a protest <facepalm>, I'm dead set against Pardew but this could get embarrassing.

When will he stop spouting s**** like "the fans had a good time" or "it's what the fans deserve" and start addressing the real issues? Why have our coaching staff not improved our set pieces? Why does he continue to play some superb players out of position, rendering them completely ineffective? Why does he consistently sit back after a one goal lead and try to defend, when our defence is weak as piss?

So many failings need to be acknowleged and rectified yet this is the best he can come up with. I'm so bored of hearing him s**** on.
When is that supposed Q&A session he was meant to hold with the fans? These are the main questions needed to be put to him, because if he does stay there will need to be a MASSIVE improvement in all those areas to bring me back on his side.

If next season starts with the same s*** we have had to put up with most of this season, I can genuinely see a situation similar to Steve Kean at Blackburn happening to us. He needs the fans back on his side if he is to continue in that job.

Good luck Alan.

The Q&A he did before this season started was a joke. Whenever someone asked him a hard question about tactics he just blew it off as if the fans knew nothing and that he should be the only one thinking about tactics. We stopped playing 4-3-3 at the start of this season (someone specifically asked if we would keep playing that system) and proceeded to play s***.

If there is a Q&A during the pre-season he'll just pull out the same tired excuses about why we did s*** this season and spout some s*** about how the dressing room is behind him and without the EL we'll do much better.

Inevitable. Needs to learn from his numerous failings then.

Yeah there are questions about them. Does seem a bit strange to have Remy on the photo though <laugh>

I hope they send the results to Pardew. He could do with reading my answer to the tactics question <laugh>

Am I right in saying that the last Newcastle manager to last two full seasons was Bobby Robson? <yikes>
